Information you share with us
When you make an enquiry, we receive your name, email address, client category and project description, together with any optional telephone number, organisation, support area and timeframe you provide.
For team or partnership applications, we also receive your collaboration interests, skills, experience and motivation, and any optional location, portfolio link, CV or portfolio file you submit. Please do not include identity document numbers, health information, religious beliefs or other sensitive personal information unless we have separately agreed that it is necessary and appropriate.
Why we use this information
- To answer enquiries and take steps at your request before entering into a service agreement, where applicable (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To assess potential collaboration and communicate with applicants, based on our legitimate interest in finding suitable collaborators (Article 6(1)(f)).
- To protect the website and deal with technical problems, based on our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure service (Article 6(1)(f)).
- To comply with legal obligations where they apply (Article 6(1)(c)).
Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing messages. Required fields help us understand and respond to your request. If you prefer not to use the form, you can contact us by email or telephone.
Service providers
The website is hosted through AREA IT. Forms are processed on the hosting server and emailed to davidsstrategies@proton.me through the hosting email system. Our email is provided by Proton. We send a separate acknowledgement to the address you submit; it does not include your project description, CV or portfolio.
The website loads fonts from Adobe Fonts. Loading external resources can disclose technical information such as your IP address and request information to the resource provider. See Adobe Fonts privacy information. Hosting systems may also record technical access logs.
How long information is kept
We retain enquiry information while addressing your request and for as long as reasonably necessary for related follow-up. Application information is retained while the relevant collaboration opportunity is being assessed. Where an agreement follows, information needed for that agreement and legal obligations is handled separately. Retention also depends on applicable legal requirements and the need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Retaining an application for future opportunities requires a separate arrangement.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the email address above. We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about applicants or clients through these forms.
You may complain to Latvia’s Data State Inspectorate or the relevant supervisory authority.
Website storage and external services
The website does not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts. A necessary session cookie is used when you open a form to protect the submission process. Security counters use hashed identifiers and are retained for no more than two days. Form contents and attachments are not stored in a public website directory. Temporary uploaded files are removed by the hosting upload system after processing. External font and email providers operate their own services and policies; contact us for information about applicable processing and transfer arrangements.
